Balenciaga was found over 100 years ago in 1919 by Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga  in Spain. Since it's relocated to Paris in 1937, Balenciaga has adopted the usage of sleek, linear lines, deviating from the popular hourglass shape at the time. Current day, Balenciaga is seen as one of the biggest high fashion lines. The brand has yearly fashion shows during Paris Fashion Week, which attracts celebrities, designers, and stylists from around the world. With it's sophisticated aesthetic and experimental designs, Balenciaga will always continue to dominate the fashion industry.
